Our class has been working on our sounds. I finally have found the time to upload it. I hope you learn something new.

Nga hakari

For the last few weeks we have been working on a google slides about our nga hakari. It was fun and we enjoyed it.

In our class we are learning about sounds. I am making my google slides live now, so people can see what I am adding onto my google slides. It will always be updated.

Long "A"

Today we learnt about the long "A" and ways to write the long "A". We learnt 5 ways to write the long A in many words. I hope you learn something new from my work.

Matariki Day

This week we celebrated Matariki Day at school by doing Maori games, and Maori traditions. My favourite game was hakariki in room 3.We were all split into ten groups rotating around every 20 minutes. At lunch time we were shouted a sausage sizzle, drink, and an ice block, and we all went back to class.

My chocolate family

Last week we learnt about metaphors. A metaphor is like an simile but you don't use "like" or "as", but you use "is" instead . We had to make a poem that describe's our families personality by using chocolates that suits them best. I hope you enjoy my poem.
 

We learnt science with Mrs Cowells. She taught us about what happens when pressure and gas is trapped inside a small room. Bellow we have recorded what happened when dry and wet ingredients are mixed together. We enjoyed exploding film canisters. Maybe you could try this to.

1. You pulled up on your ship to the Gold lagoon.
2. Walk to the Abandoned village East.
3. Go south to the Dinosaur caves be careful for the Dinosaurs.
4. Keep walking south till you reach Shark mouth tip be careful for the pointy rocks.
5. Go north, west till you reach the Gold lake.
6. Go north till you reach the Cloud tree.
7. Your treasure will be north east the cloud tree close to the edge of Fin tip.
