Reflective post blog commenting.

For my reading the past two days, I have been commenting on peoples blogs. I recently commented on Danellas blog. She wrote about how she would be researching historic events. I think she stuck to her title well. Below is a screenshot of my comment to Danella.

Neighborhood project reflective blog

This week we have been learning how to use area, perimeter and geometry to build a neighborhood. The hard part was making sure that my area and perimeter is correct so everything fits correctly in place. The good part was that everything fit in place. I can easily measure the area and perimeter of my shapes.

Soar writing

We have been learning how to retell a story and use seven plus gems in our story as well. Our class have chosen the story Soar. We had to write from the point of view of Mara or Lucas. I chose Lucas. I have the video bellow my writing. I hope you enjoy.

Soar
1.Crash landing
2.Larger human
3.Take-off

Crack! I heard the sound of my back propeller cracking and smashing. I turn my head towards my short and stubby propeller until I noticed I was plummeting towards a tree. My silver aircraft hit head first past a branch then my aqua blue bag shot down like a skydiver diving off an airplane. It landed on a enormous brown table planted into the green grass. Smash! I hit the trunk of a large brown tree and fell to the top of the brown lengthy table. I leaped out of my aircraft and dusted my clothes off. I Swiveled my head towards my crumbled plane. There was no way I was soaring in the dark blue skies again. I lost all hope.

I tilted my head up and I gazed upon a giant. I held a sharp yellow pencil I had found and raised it towards the giant. I crept closer and closer to my little blue case that had fell out of my aircraft before I crashed. “Calm down there,” mumbled the giant. I glared at her than my destroyed aircraft and fell to the ground. She pulled the yellow pencil out of my hand and tried to fix my aircraft. Crash after crash after crash. I lost hope.

I exhaled and landed on the ground. She glared at me then pulled a serious face. She tried one last thing she used a black tape to fix my propeller. 3,2,1 I counted nervously. Take off! I soared through the skies and past the clouds. I reached my destination. I pulled out my little aqua blue case, pried the case wide open and a glistening blue star slowly escalated. I gripped the star in between my hands and planted it in the sky. I glared at the star then the ground. I waved my hand over the star a couple of times to signal Mara and thank her for helping me reach the dark blue sky. I grinned then I dropped back onto my leather seat and flew through the clouds back to the land of tiny people.

The end

Room 3 Assembly day

I have been learning how to direct the assembly for the music, videos… The hard part was making sure that anything that was playing is supposed to be playing in the background or on the projector.
The good part is I managed to make sure nothing was playing out of time.
I can easily manage the audio/videos playing in the background. I need to learn to not to accidentally close the tabs needed.

The big race day

I have been learning how to elaborate and add detail to my writing. The hard part was always using high level vocab to improve my writing. The good part is that I know how to elaborate my writing quite a bit so it helped me a lot. I can elaborate and add detail to my writing.

Converting Cm to Mm

We have been learning how to convert cm into mm for our learning today. We used a ruler to measure the length and width of the picture in Cm, then we converted the cm into mm. I found the lesson quite easy.
